I've been working on a couple of ship designs under High Guard; these are, for want of a better phrase, 'prototypes', but work, after a fashion.
Vigilance is an attempt to produce a Patrol Destroyer that wasn't all that successful.
Biathlon was a Fast Escort, in the Corvette style, and in my less than humble opinion, WAS successful.
I'm listing the construction files below for both of them, from the very handy High Guard Shipyard windows package (and which run under WINE in a Linux environment, YAY!), which is available from Downport.com. The files are enclosed in zip archives to ensure ease of access..

There's an ongoing discussion thread regarding hand-held cutting torches over on CoTI; I came up with a couple of ideas, which might just make it onto the wiki if I'm lucky. In the mean time, here are the PDF Equipment sheets for the two items...
